May 12 is barreling towards us. On that day, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch. Despite recently getting a look at some of the gameplay changes coming to TotK, fans still didn’t have much of a clue what the story is going to be like. Well, there’s still plenty of mystery surrounding the narrative, but the latest trailer dropped by Nintendo gives us a much clearer look at many of the principal players in the plot:
The biggest takeaway from this trailer, arguably, is that Ganondorf is returning. Returning and apparently fully regenerated, as well as also fully voice-acted for the first time. Ganondorf will be played by Mattew Mercer of the popular series Critical Role and countless voice acting roles in anime and video games. He was happy to share the news via his Twitter account:
