While Wii U unquestionably lacks the third party support of publishers like Ubisoft, at least it’s got really good indie support to balance things out. With an already rich library of indie games, Wii U still has plenty of titles on the way. I’m personally excited for Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut. After recently making my way through the excellent Wii U version of Pirate’s Curse, it was really hard going back to play its prequel on the smaller DS screen. Now I’ll just have to wait a little longer and play with giant pixels, just the way I like it.
Another notable title on this list is Boxboy!, a new game from Hal Laboratory. Previously announced only for Japan, this cute platformer from the creators of Kirby will be released in the North American 3DS eShop in spring 2015.
What are your favorites from this massive list of upcoming eShop games?

Man, some of these games look really good! I’m really digging what indie developers are bringing to the table on Nintendo platforms lately!
There must be something for everyone on that list! Excited to see when Octodad will come out. I played the demo on a PS4 demo station and thought I could really enjoy more of that game in small doses.
