Night Trap, the infamous FMV title from Digital Pictures that was released on Sega CD in 1992, received a 25th anniversary release on PlayStation 4 and PC last August, but few were probably expecting to hear that the cult game would be headed to a Nintendo platform.
Well, as the release trailer suggests, never say never because Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition is coming to Switch:
The news is particularly ironic given that the former Nintendo of America Chairman, Howard Lincoln, stated back in 1993 that “Night Trap will never appear on a Nintendo system.” Welp, so much for that!
No release date has been announced, but Limited Run Games has said to expect a digital and physical release this summer.
