Ratings boards are infamous for revealing games prior to a formal announcement, and the Korean Game Rating committee is no exception, listing Resident Evil: Revelations for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
According to NeoGAF user raven7777, the Korean ratings board has leaked other titles previously, such as Dragonball Z Kinect and the console versions of Crysis. Still no word on whether this port will be a retail or a downloadable title, although the latter is more likely, given Capcom’s re-releases of prior Resident Evil titles.
Resident Evil: Revelations is a modernization of the classic games in the franchise, and blew everyone away when first revealed at E3 2010. We gave the game a B+ back in February, calling it one of the system’s graphical showcases.
Well that sucks, i hate when nintendo lose exclusives.
Don’t look at it as “losing an exclusive”. Instead, consider this a chance to share a game you love with a much wider audience.
The more people who get to play and enjoy RE:Revelations the better if you ask me. Capcom did a great job bringing it out on 3DS, and having it ported to other platforms won’t reduce my enjoyment of the game one bit.
I don’t mind sharing games as long as the other consoles are also sharing with Nintendo’s, which rarely happens, and was a problem since the N64.
