Wouldn’t be the first time!

Google Maps and its Street View software have been pushed to a first quarter 2013 window. Both are expected to be tailor-made to the GamePad’s functionality. In a market of booming smartphone sales, the GamePad would have to offer something new for Google Maps to make it past being a fun curiosity. We’ll have to wait a few more months before getting our hands on it.

TiVo and Netflix, however, might see more use on a daily basis. Support for both– through Wii U’s TVii hub– has been delayed to an “early 2013” window. Until then, Nintendo-cum-Netflix fans can make use of the dedicated Netflix app, which can be downloaded from the eShop.

    Super Bowl on Nintendo TVii

Did anyone watch the Super Bowl while following it on Nintendo TVii? I found it to be quite helpful in getting me caught up after I had to pause to put my daughter to bed.
