In what seems like an effort to capitalize on the recent announcement that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be making its way westward to the European and North American markets in early 2015, Capcom has discounted the game’s predecessor Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on both the 3DS and Wii U eShops.
With physical versions of the game currently retailing for roughly $39.99 on both platforms, from now until February 3 players can purchase a digital copy of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for $19.99. This is quite the savings and an opportunity for gamers like me, who had ignored the series until now, to play a little bit of catch up.
