Fighting game fans haven’t had a lot to celebrate on Nintendo systems over the last few console generations. Though the Super Nintendo was once home to classic fighters such as Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat II, since then, the genre has been mostly ill-represented.
The Switch has a handful of fighting games on the way, however, including Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers and old-school Neo Geo titles, such as Waku Waku 7. Perhaps in an attempt to lure more of these types of games to the system, Hori has announced a fully-licensed Arcade Fight Stick. No price range has been announced for the Real Arcade Pro.V Hayabusa at this time, but fighting game fans will likely have to drop more than a few quarters to bring one home!
Is this the kind of accessory that will encourage more publishers to release fighting games on Nintendo’s new system? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
