The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is officially in theaters and that means a now-customary question is popping up for many a filmgoer: should you sit the credits for any extra scenes? The post-credits stinger was popularized in films by the first Iron Man movie and has become a mainstay in countless genre flicks ever since. Indeed, The Super Mario Bros. Movie itself was home to two additional scenes, so it’s only natural to wonder if this one does, too.
And the answer is… yes. There are once again two post-credits scenes to enjoy in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. We won’t spoil them, but the first comes midway through the credits and the second comes right at the end. If you’re curious about the direction of the franchise moving forward, that second stinger is the one you’ll really want to pay attention to, but both are arguably worth your time.
