The presence of USB ports on the Switch dock along with the headphone jack on the system itself gives players a lot of flexibility when it comes to deciding how to listen to their games. However, when you go portable, your options are instantly reduced to just the onboard speakers and the headphone jack, a significant limitation in a world where Bluetooth headsets have pretty much become the norm. Thankfully, there’s now a remedy for this problem for anyone willing a drop some extra cash.
Bionik, a third party gaming accessory company, has created the BT Audio Sync, a device that plugs into the Switch’s USB-C port and is compatible with all Bluetooth audio devices. The design fits with the system’s contours and even includes it’s own USB-C port so you can continue charging on the go. The device even allows syncing for up to two pairs of headphones for multiplayer gaming.
The BT Audio Sync is available for purchase now for $39.99.
