An exciting new reveal of an “outdoor Pokémon attraction” has been announced by the Pokémon Company and it’s called PokéPark Kanto.
The Chief Creative Fellow at TCP Junichi Masuda showed off concept models of the park aiming to create a world where Pokémon exist. From what was gathered, the park is split off into two environments – a town area and a forest area. How exciting does it sound to be able to experience Pokémon in both the wild and in domesticated living spaces, our inner child is jumping up and down right now.
From the images shown, the town looks like any other in the Pokémon world, complete with a Pokémon Center and a Pokémart. The forest looks like a clear open space with a path created for visitors to walk amongst as they view the area around them. Pokémon statues are going to be placed all around various locations to look like they are exploring freely in the Pokémon world.

The park is set to open in 2026 with tickets going on sale later this year. Who knows, maybe this is the first step towards a bigger amusement park that could include large animatronic Pokémon for an even a greater experience (if any Season 1 fans get’s what I’m referencing).
If you are wanting to go, this means to start preparing to plan a trip to Yomiyuriland amusement park in Inagi, Tokyo. Let us know what you think about the idea of PokéPark Kanto in the comments below.
