Slowly but surely, Switch is building up its library of horror games thanks to independent developers. While Nintendo’s newest console has been graced with Capcom’s Resident Evil Revelations spin-offs, indie success stories like the Outlast series have been leading the charge to scare Switch owners. Another indie game will soon join those ranks, Shut Eye.
Coming from Forever Entertainment, Shut Eye explores horror from the imaginative viewpoint of a young child. In it, you play as a little girl who has to survive anxiety-filled nights in which her own toys appear to be out to get her, though part of the challenge is discerning actual threats from the child’s overactive imagination.
Shut Eye will be available for download on the eShop on August 9.
