Cammie Dunaway Leaves Nintendo
According to IGN, Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s exectuive vice president of sales and marketing, will leave the company Oct. 1. She has accepted a new position outside of the video game industry, though no further details are known.
“I’m thankful for my time with Nintendo and proud of our team’s accomplishments in growing the Nintendo audience,” Dunaway said in a statement to IGN.
Dunaway joined Nintendo of America in late 2007. She filled the executive vice president role vacated by now-President Reggie Fils-Aime, according to Joystiq. Before Nintendo, Dunaway was the chief marketing officer for Yahoo (2003-2007), where she was named one of the top 100 marketers by Advertising Age, according to a CNET News report. She also worked for numerous years at Frito-Lay in marketing and graduated from Harvard Business School and University of Richmond, as shown on her Linkedin profile.
“We appreciate Cammie’s contributions to Nintendo and the role she played in bringing the Wii and Nintendo DS experiences to millions of people,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president and chief operating officer, in a statement to IGN.
Nintendo has not yet announced any plans in regard to her position.

Rumor: GoldenEye 007 on Wii Allows Players To Use Nintendo 64 Controller
nester64x called in to report a special feature for GoldenEye 007 on Wii. He claims that players who buy a special controller adapter for Wii will be able to utilize the Nintendo 64 remote for the game. This little easter egg, though, will never be confirmed by Activision or developer Eurocom for undisclosed reasons.
GoldenEye 007 hits store shelves Nov. 2 as a standard package at a MSRP of $49.99 or as a Gold Controller Bundle at a MSRP of $69.99.
