Resident Evil Requiem launched earlier this year and provided fans with one of the most exciting installments in the series ever made. Needless to say, fans wouldn’t say no to more, and Capcom is looking to oblige with the forthcoming DLC expansion for the game. There’s no word on when it will arrive, but thanks to an interview with Haris Orkin, Requiem’s writer, fans finally have a better idea of what the story might be about.
Some spoilers ahead for the plot of Requiem, just so you know!
Speaking with the Distance NERDing Podcast, Orkin said the following about Requiem’s DLC expansion:
We have an arc for Spencer in Requiem, you understand that more. And then the DLC, you’ll understand it even further. I probably shouldn’t say that, but yeah.
Mysterious! Spencer’s role in the game is pretty critical as it ties directly into Grace and the part she plays in the schemes of Dr. Gideon and Zeno. What more might we learn about the enigmatic Spencer, who has always existed on the periphery of Resident Evil lore but been nonetheless crucial to the storyline? We’ll find out when the expansion comes to Requiem in the future.
