Hello Kitty has been experiencing something of a video game renaissance the past couple of years. Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a solid life sim mixed with light puzzle/adventure elements that Switch and Switch 2 fans have been enjoying the heck out of. Now the question is, can Sanrio’s faithful mascot pull off another hit with the impending launch of Hello Kitty Party Land? Let’s take a look at the game in glorious motion:
Hello Kitty Party Land is built around the idea of “accessible, competitive play.” There’s standard board game progression as these party games are known for, but the mix of Sanrio characters and customization will help this one to stand apart. There 140 Sanrio characters in all, with 16 partners to accompany the player character. There also over 40 minigames to enjoy either in single player, as well as local and online multiplayer.
Hello Kitty Party Land launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on October 29, 2026.
