Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, well, reimagines the beloved RPG… yet again. After all, the original came came out on PlayStation back in 2001, with a remake for Nintendo 3DS released in 2016. Now, a decade later on February 6, 2026, DQVII Reimagined will come to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. This iteration of the game will boast boosted visuals as well as “a more streamlined experience and enhanced narrative depth through optional side quests, stories and minigames.” What’s more, the battle system has also been overhauled, with players now able to use two vocations at once (dubbed Moonlighitng), as well as the new “Let Loose” ability and a Monster Master vocation for summoning monsters.
