Pokémon Go‘s eventful summer is slowly coming to an end, and its going out with a bang! Niantic recently announced information about Dark Skies and Max Finale, the final two events prepared for summer. For the event, Zacian and Zamazenta are making a return to team up against Eternatus, who is being added to the game. To go along with the Pokémon Sword and Shield theming, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble will be appearing more often! The dual events are set to kick off August 18th and last until August 24th.

Additionally, Dynamax and Gigantimax Pokémon will be appearing more often for raids throughout the event. Finally, trainers can get ready early through using the code GOFESTMAX to get access to Timed Research that will reward with a Gigantimax Rillaboom, Cinderace or Inteleon of their choice!
