Take heed, dear Nintendo fans: the rumor mill is churning with word of Jakks Pacific and Mattel Super Mario Bros. movie merchandise. As reported by Nintendo Everything, a bevy of product listings have been spotted on Amazon detailing these alleged toys and games. Jakks is apparently working on a number of action figures featuring designs based on Mario, Luigi, Toad, and others. There are no photos of the toys to speak of, but the listings proclaim that each figure is loaded with articulation and premium textures.
Mattel, meanwhile, seems to have a special version of its UNO game ready to go featuring designs based on the film. Many of the Jakks product listings claim an October 1 release date, but this seems unlikely given the Super Mario Bros. movie being delayed until April 7, 2023. It was originally set to launch in December of 2022, so that’s likely the reason for the 10.01 date. While we might have to wait a bit longer to see these toys and goodies, you can tune on October 6 for a fresh glimpse at the movie. A teaser will be airing during New York Comic Con, representing the first (presumably) footage of the film to be shown.
Are you excited for these toys? Tell us down in the comments!
