Mario Kart 8‘s first DLC pack is due at some point in November, bringing with it cups based on the Legend of Zelda and Yoshi. Not all of the race tracks, however, have been disclosed, but Nintendo was kind enough to peel the curtain back a bit and reveal that Yoshi Circuit from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is making a return!
As the below video demonstrates, Yoshi Circuit has been lovingly redesigned and upgraded with the same meticulous care as the rest of the courses in Mario Kart 8. It’s a pretty big deal that Nintendo is releasing DLC for a Mario Kart game, and the snippets of information unveiled so far have really gotten at least this writer’s anticipation level through the roof!

This course had probably the most hidden shortcut in Double Dash. The problem was that it turned out to be more of a long cut in most scenarios unless you had lots of boost power.
I’m excited to see this one back though. I loved the song for the course.
