The World Next Door is a very fun and unique video game from developer Rose City Games and publisher VIZ Media. It fuses together a rich narrative with kinetic, exciting action-puzzle gameplay similar to Puzzles and Dragons. It’s been out for a while now on Switch, but Rose City has finally added a much anticipated two-player versus mode!
This update is free to all owners of the game. It will also come preinstalled in all future purchases of The World Next Door. As noted in the accompanying press release, the new Versus Mode “offers players the chance to hone their battle skills in local 2-player battles to see who can claim the title of top spell-caster!” It sounds like a wonderful excuse to return to Emrys and visit Jun and friends.
