Did somebody say Wonderful 101? (With apologies to Arrested Development.)

If you didn’t, that’s alright. If you did, then some good news for those who are fervent haters of downloadable content. Game director Hideki Kamiya tweeted that the features that Platinum Games had wanted to include in the title are already in there, and it will be very unlikely that there is any downloadable content coming for the game at any point in the future. That means that the game is pretty much complete, which is a good thing even if there are some complaints about how long the game is.

The title, which is being developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo, will be a Wii U exclusive and should be hitting the shelves on August 23 for Europe, August 24 in Australia, and September 15 for North America. A bit of a wait, but sounds like it should be well worth it.
