The ESRB may have once again proven itself to be just as good at inadvertently announcing games as it is at rating them. The ratings board has released ratings for both Sin & Punishment and Sin & Punishment 2: Star Successor for Wii U.
Considering the fact that Nintendo has been re-releasing both N64 and Wii games on the Wii U’s Virtual Console for some time now, it really doesn’t feel like too much of a gamble to assume we’ll see both of these shooters on the service sooner rather than later. Furthermore, Sin & Punishment, despite never being released outside of Japan in the N64 days, managed to find its way to the rest of the world in 2007 on Wii’s Virtual Console. Many of you could probably go play it on your Wii U right now!
Hopefully we’ll get official confirmation soon so more people can discover these gems.
