Not surprising: that Super Mario Maker would come to Switch. Very surprising: it’s actually the sequel which is inbound! That’s right, folks; as revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct Broadcast, Super Mario Maker 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch in June of this year! Peep the trailer:
There’s a ton of new stuff on the way, including the ability to control the ascent and descent direction of airships, as well as Snake Blocks. The entire interface appears to have gotten an overhaul, also. There’s no word on online connectivity or any other details, but as soon as we get more, we’ll share it. That said… it’s a glorious time to be alive, friends.
