Konami has announced that Super Bomberman R, one of the launch games for Switch, will soon be getting a brand-new update.
The developer claims that the update will “greatly refine the game-play, control input and character controls, for both online and offline play”. It also notes that this is one of a number of upcoming updates that will improve the general play experience of the game.
The Japanese website for the game states that it will be updated this Friday (March 17), but Konami has yet to announce a release date for North America or Europe.
Super Bomberman R received some criticism on its release for lacking certain features that are present in older entries in the series. Despite this, the game has had the best debut for the series in Japan since 1998.
