In its recent financial results briefing, Square Enix announced that it plans to “aggressively” work on mid-ranged titles for Nintendo Switch.

The publisher commented on how Switch is a unique console with strong momentum at the moment, and that all IPs are being considered for the platform — both active and inactive franchises. In particular, it believes that Switch is an ideal platform to put middle-range games on.

As reported by The Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki, the company also noted that Switch’s core architecture is similar to that of the PS4 and Xbox One, which could theoretically allow them to develop multi-platform games for all consoles.

Square Enix is responsible for numerous beloved franchises, including the Final Fantasy series, Deus Ex, Hitman and Tomb Raider. Which games would you like to see make their way across to Switch though?
