Splatoon is the gift that just keeps on giving. For fans, the giving keeps coming in the form of continuous new content updates. For Nintendo, it’s the success of the burgeoning new IP as it continues to find its way into the hands of players. That success has reached a new height in Europe, as Splatoon is now sitting pretty with 1 million units sold!
That’s a lot of squid, for sure, and good news for Nintendo as it undoubtedly is planning what properties it wants to bring to its upcoming console NX. Splatoon has been a huge hit worldwide, and is yet another franchise with which Nintendo can connect with fans. We certainly loved the game when it debuted last spring, and are delighted to know that many players out in the world do, too!
