It’s not unusual for the big three publishers to release console bundles around the holiday season. After all, the majority of the year’s video game sales tend to happen during this time period. It should come as no surprise, then, that Nintendo would bundle some of their biggest Wii U titles alongside the system, to make it a more enticing seller. It’s just surprising to see the system’s two biggest games in one bundle!
The upcoming Smash Splat Deluxe Set will bundle digital versions of Super Smash Bros. and Splatoon with the console. The system will come with the games already pre-installed, so eager gamers won’t have to endure long download times on Christmas morning. The bundle will retail for $299, but it looks like some major retailers plan to sell the bundle as low as $249 on Black Friday! That’s an amazing bargain for those that have held off on Nintendo’s latest console!
Does this bundle make it more likely that a Wii U will end up as a gift for your family this holiday season? Let us know in the comments below!
