As was reported last week, Bandai Namco has revealed another playable monster in Pokkén Tournament, the upcoming Pokémon fighting game for Wii U. This time, Grass-type Ruby and Sapphire starting Pokémon Sceptile jumps into the fray.

Sceptile marks the 12th Pokémon confirmed for the title, joining the likes of Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Pikachu Libre, Weavile, Gengar, Suicune, Gardevoir, Charizard, Shadow Mewtwo, and fellow Ruby/Sapphire starter Blaziken. As you’d expect, Sceptile primarily uses plant-based attacks in combat, and can even Mega Evolve into Mega Sceptile in the midst of a battle. Bandai Namco has released a trailer that highlights some of Sceptile’s abilities, which you can take a look at it below.

Pokkén Tournament will be launching in the West in spring 2016. Are you looking forward to the Pokémon/Tekken hybrid? Let us know in the comments!
