As far back as the days of Pokémon Red and Blue, hackers have attempted to discover unobtainable Pokémon hidden in the code of the games. Well, Pokémon X and Y are no exception, as it appears that a hacker by the name of “Smealum” has discovered three new legendary Pokémon. If you do not wish to be spoiled on potential future Pokémon distributions, you may wish to click the back button on your browser before going any further.

The newly discovered Pokémon apparently go by the names of Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa, and, if they prove to be real, would apparently be numbered 719-721 in the Kalos Pokédex. Smealum’s work wouldn’t be nearly as believable without evidence, but he has provided images of each. It’s important to note that we cannot confirm the authenticity of any of these images, only that they do appear to be real. So please take this with a grain of salt.

While the images show each of these Pokémon in Santalune Forest at very low levels, that is simply the way that they were hacked, so don’t waste time scouring the area in hopes of finding them. Since the news broke, players have been requesting these legendary Pokémon on the Global Trade System, though it wouldn’t appear that anyone actually has them at this time.

Stay tuned to Nintendojo where we’ll have more as it develops. In the meantime, let us know what you think about these potential new pocket monsters in the comments below!
