The creator of Devil’s Third, Tomonobu Itagaki, has suggested via a Facebook post that the Wii U exclusive Tecmo Koei game Fatal Frame V may be making its way out of Japan for the first time. In a reply to a comment by a fan, he said,

“Hey guys, I strongly believe that Kikuchi Keisuke will release the Fatal Frame V in America, in many countries. He and me have same philosophy from Tecmo days. That’s what I can say for now. I want you guys to read between the lines. Anyway I will play this game.”

Fatal Frame, known as Project Zero in Europe, is a long-running survival horror series best known for its innovative combat mechanics, which require the player to take photos of supernatural enemies in order to defeat them. The Fatal Frame movie is slated for release later this year.
