Nintendo Announces Final Shipment of Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition

Nintendo’s celebration of Super Mario Bros’ 25th birthday left as many (and maybe more) faces sour as they did smiling, especially with the culmination of all the celebration in a 15 year old package. The limited edition version of Super Mario All-Stars may remain relatively untouched, but who knows, it may one day become a collector’s item worth as much as the original. It’s got an art book and a soundtrack included in it! Anyway, your chance to get your hands on this package is dwindling fast: yesterday, Nintendo announced that they are producing their final run of the $29.99 collectors item. Go buy it if you haven’t already, as it may be worth something in the future!

Months and months ago, EA announced a launch game for 3DS entitled MyGarden, its announcement supplemented with screenshots that didn’t look too bad, as if the game was nearly finished. Dr. Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights, looks a lot like professor layton. But looks like it might be worth a try.

That’s why I couldn’t find it! It was previously exclusive to Japan! Dr. Lautrec was posted in the 3DS line-up video on the Nintendo Channel, but when I went to look for it online, I couldn’t find it. Looks cool; big Prof. Layton fan.

Lautrec looks better (that is, more Layton-ish) than that other Layton rip off with the magician and the little girl. Though if Lautrec is like American TV’s House or Becker, as I seem to remember him being characterized, count me out. :P
