Super Mario All-Stars Re-Released

Nintendo of America announced today that, in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. series, a limited edition Super Mario All-Stars will be available for purchase, containing the four classic Mario games (Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3), a soundtrack CD, and an illustrated commemorate booklet. The suggested retail price is $29.99. All four games can be played with the Wii Remote controller, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro, or the Nintendo GameCube controller.

Ghost Trick Release Date Announced

Nintendo and Capcom have confirmed that, on January 14th, 2011, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will launch. Headed by Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi, the game has the player take control of a recently murdered character, Sissel, as he attempts to uncover his murderer.

No Plans for Back To The Future

Telltale’s Back to the Future series is not intended to arrive on the Wii, according to community manager Alan Johnson, specifically saying that there are no plans for a Wii iteration at this time.

Pokemon Cartoon Series Head Writer Rushed to Hospital

Takeshi Shudo (61), the head writer for the Pokemon cartoon series, collapsed Thursday morning at 6 am (Japanese time) at Nara Station, suffering from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. No further information has yet been released.
