Atlus to release four to five new games within the next fiscal year

The parent company of RPG darling Atlus announced today that there will be four to five new Atlus titles released between now and August 2013. Among the games expected is Shin Megami Tensei IV for Nintendo 3DS and Dragon’s Crown for PS3. What the other games could be remains unknown. Could we see some more love for Nintendo from Atlus? (Please let there be a new Trauma Center game for Wii U…)

Feast your eyes on the Assassin’s Creed III launch trailer

Assassin’s Creed III is only one week away from launch, and Ubisoft has a new trailer to dole out as usual. The new launch trailer features Connor without his assassin suit and some inspiring voiceover. The Wii U version doesn’t come out for another 4 weeks when the console launches, so the Nintendo faithful will not have to wait much longer to tomahawk Templars.

Wii U games made by EA will require Origin account to play online

A recent privacy policy published by EA revealed that an Origin account will be required to play Wii U games online. According to the policy, Wii U users will be required to set up an Origin account that will be connected with their Nintendo Network accounts to play EA games online. Several games are requiring this right at launch, including FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3. Origin is EA’s digital distribution platform that launched last year. Origin has millions of users, but has fallen under criticism for EA’s banning policies and the information they access on user’s computers.

Last year there were some rumors floating around that Nintendo was in talks with both Valve and EA to use their content providers, Steam and Origin, with Wii U. Perhaps EA made a deal with Nintendo to be able to use Origin with its Wii U console games?

    Hot News:

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS/Wii U) is finally available for preorder online at Capcom’s store. The game isn’t being released until March 2013, and it’s hard to say what type of preorder deals might appear between now and release… but for all the poor suckers like me who basically bought a 3DS on the promise of a portable Monster Hunter, why wait?

If you order the Wii U version, you get a Classic Controller Pro (the black Wii one, not a Wii U controller) free with purchase. Sadly, no bonus for the 3DS version at the moment.

    I’m stoked!
