Doomsday

Today was a very good day for DC Comics fans. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced Injustice: Gods Among Us on Wii U. The game will be a fighter featuring the likes of Superman, Batman, the Flash, Harley Quinn, and many more heroes and villains. NetherRealm Studios, of Mortal Kombat fame, will launch this super showdown in 2013.

The title’s story revolves around our favorite fictional heroes becoming big threats to their world. There will be large scale battles, as featured in this epic trailer. The game will be fast-paced, have a well-crafted story, and include many characters to choose from.

This is just the type of game Wii U needs. Consider this DC fan, sold.

3DS advances

Nintendo screams innovation and if a recent patent is any indication of what is to come from 3DS, we are in for a real treat. The inner-facing camera would detect the motion of a marker on a stylus as images are manipulated on-screen. No other input would be required by the player.

Just imagine virtual items moving deeper into the 3D field as you push forward, and closer to you (as if popping out) as you pull backward. In addition, the patent reveals a vibrating stylus function (think virtual Rumble Pak, on a much smaller scale) which could be experienced with a special marker on a stylus or by applying said marker to your finger.

We will just have to wait and see if Nintendo plans on using these 3DS innovations in future products.
