Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Demo Now Available on eShop
As you may have already heard, the demo for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is now available on eShop. The demo arrives four days ahead of the full game, which is scheduled to hit North American stores on February 21. As noted, fans can still play the demo without the Circle Pad Pro attachment, but if early impressions are anything to go by, they may want to invest in the peripheral soon if they plan on tackling the full adventure.
Also available on eShop today is the classic NES title, Super Mario Bros. Early adopters who received the game as part of Nintendo’s 3DS Ambassadors apology program can download a free update for their copies to enable save states, while non-Ambassadors can purchase the title for $4.99. No word on when the rest of the NES Ambassador titles will finally hit the service.

New Fire Emblem 3DS Details
New details on the upcoming 3DS installment of Fire Emblem have surfaced courtesy of Famitsu magazine. Among the game’s new features is the ability to disable permadeath, which is sure to take much of the tension (and frustration) out of particularly long maps. In addition, it seems characters will now receive a “support effect” each time they initiate a battle while next to an ally unit. These allies will also be able to participate in said battles, attacking enemy units and defending against oncoming assaults (as seen in the game’s debut trailer). Further details on the game, including new information on its storyline, can be found at the link below.
