Okay, guys, time to deal you some slapdash, hardcore news.  First off, Wii U’s Ninja Gaiden: Razor’s Edge is unsurprisingly based off of the Xbox360/PS3 versions of the game, although there should be some unique content for the Wii U version.  Team Ninja’s Fumihiko Yasuda says that they are exploring the possibility of different game modes and different ways to go through combat with the new controller.  There are also hints of a 3DS game on the way.

There is an actual Nintendo DS game on display at this year’s E3 — it’s Professor’s Layton’s final DS outing, Professor Layton and the Last Specter.  Nintendo of America is releasing the game in the US, and has a trailer posted.  However, the “London Life” RPG that is unlocked at the end of the Japanese version of the game will be available in the English version.

While Michel Ancel has been working patiently on Rayman Origins, several fans want to know more about the long-awaited Beyond Good and Evil 2.  He says that the development team is working on the game on top-of-the-line PC hardware.  This would mean the game would have to be downscaled to run on current consoles.  Ancel also says now is the time to take advantage of the diversity in game consoles.  Consdering Wii U’s unusual user interface, perhaps it might be just the ticket for Beyond Good and Evil 2?
