Retro Platformer Justice Beaver Coming to SNES and Wii U

That headline is not a typo.

What’s more bizarre than someone making a new SNES plaformer in the modern era? Absolutely nothing, especially when that same game features a beaver with a gun and is named Justice Beaver. No, I am not joking and yes, that silly name is meant to sound like Justin Bieber. In other news, the sky is green and it’s raining cats and dogs.

The game is being developed by Collectorvision, which is a company that has been making retro homebrew games since 2008. There’s not much information available outside of these screenshots, but the idea of having a new retro game like this makes me happy. If you don’t own an SNES, you can always pick up a copy on your Wii U. In fact, the developer has plans to make the game a part of the Wii U Virtual Console even though it was never released during the console’s lifetime. If this fails, then it will just be placed on the Wii U eShop instead.

What do you think of Justin Bieber? But more importantly, what do you think about Justice Beaver? Let us know in the comments below!
