Attentive Europeans might have recently noticed that a Rayman Legends Definitive Edition demo briefly popped up on the eShop before being taken down. Naturally, people began to think this likely meant they would soon be hearing more about the updated version of the acclaimed platformer. It turns out those expectations were dead on.
Ubisoft released more details about the upcoming Switch game today. Like the Wii U version, the Switch title will feature touch controls to interact with the levels, however, those will only be available while in handheld mode. As for multiplayer, the game will feature support for up to four players, including co-op play throughout the game as well as the more competitive Kung Foot mode which is being updated for this version. Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will release in North America and Europe on September 12. As for the demo, Ubisoft stated it will be available again sometime this summer, this time on purpose.
