In 2013, Bandai Namco released Project X Zone on Nintendo 3DS. Developed by Monolith Soft, the title was a strategy game that utilized characters from Bandai Namco, Sega and Capcom. Like games such as Dreammix World TV Fighters, the title almost seemed too unique to leave its country of origin. Against all odds, not only did the game arrive in North America, it shipped nearly 400,000 copies worldwide!
With such an impressive financial success under their belts, its no wonder Bandai Namco officially announced Project X Zone 2 over the weekend. The most potentially exciting news about the game is the group of new characters that have been added to the roster. From Virtua Fighter to Resident Evil, some very unique franchises are represented.
