During today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced that Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the 3DS crossover from Level-5 and Capcom (which was released in Japan late last year), will finally be making its way stateside in 2014.
While Iwata didn’t delve into any further details, we did get a brief glimpse at the first English footage of the game, which can be seen below.
Iwata also reconfirmed that Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, the sixth installment in the main Professor Layton series, will likewise be launching in North America next year. 2014 is certainly shaping up to be a good year for puzzle fans!
