Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are rapidly approaching their worldwide release date of November 21, and needless to say fan anticipation levels are through the roof. Nowhere more so than in Japan, apparently, where pre-orders for the two games have reached the one million mark. That’s a lot of love for a couple of remakes, but it speaks to both the enduring appeal of Pokémon and the dramatic reimagining that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire represent. Between Pokémon, Smash Bros. on Wii U, and Amiibo, next Friday is shaping up to be one of the most epic for Nintendo fans in recent memory!
