Since the debut of Pokémon Go, players have wondered when and if the games would add Pokémon outside of the original 151. With the app’s latest update, it looks like creatures from Pokémon Gold and Silver will join the game at some point in the near future.
The information was discovered by data miners from the website The Silph Road, who apparently discovered information in the app’s latest update for all 100 original Pokémon from the Johto region. Data has not yet been found for the characters’ moves or locations, so it could still be some time before they are officially added to the game.
