While all of us Pokémon trainers here in America eagerly await the release of Pokémon Bank, the app continues to be released in other regions all over the world. As of today, Pokémaniacs (and normal fans too) in Europe and Australia can download and use the Pokémon storage and transfer software and finally get their favorite Pokémon off their older Pokémon games and into X and Y.

If you download it now (and anytime before March 14), you get a 30 day free trial, plenty of time to get all your transferring done. But if you want to keep using the service, you will have to pay a yearly fee of £4.49 ($4.99 here in the States). As an added bonus, anyone who uses Pokémon Bank before September 30 will get a free Celebi!

While I understand that this app will be of great use to many diehard Pokémon fans, I really wish Nintendo would have made Pokémon X and Y compatible with the DS games at launch so us casual fans could get our Pokémon sooner. Let’s hope that North America is up next on the Pokémon Bank launch schedule so I can finally get my awesome Escavalier off of my Black Version!

What do you think of the Pokémon Bank? Do you have any favorite Pokémon you are dying to transfer? Let us know in the comments below!
