A New RPG called Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for Nintendo 3DS was announced yesterday by Atlus during a special Persona event. It’s coming out in Japan in June 2014, but no word on an international release yet. It’s going to be the first game in the Persona subseries of Atlus’s Shin Megami Tensei franchise to grace any Nintendo system!

PQ looks to be an action RPG similar to something like Bravely Default or Etrian Odyssey. It feature chibi versions of characters from the third and fourth Persona games as playable characters. So cute! However, I doubt this game is canon, considering its crossover nature. It would be awfully weird if it was. Then again, Atlus is known for being weird.

The game was announced along with a couple other Persona games as well: Persona 4: Dancing All Night for PS Vita, and the long, long awaited Persona 5 for PS3. 2014 is looking to be a great year for Persona lovers! Check out the trailer for Persona Q below.
