I’m excited about the addition of Wii games to the Wii U eShop, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous of the Wii games being offered in Japan. Nintendo just announced that it’s bringing Pandora’s Tower and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor to Japan’s eShop without any word of an overseas release.
While these games sell better in Japan, there’s no doubt that there’s a strong cult following in other countries that would love to get their hands on these titles. I personally missed out on Pandora’s Tower when it first launched and would love to have an excuse to try it out on Wii U.
Do you want to be able to download these games as well? Let us know in the comments below!

Seriously, after getting shafted with the lack of the standard New 3DS heading our way, throw us a bone and make these two games that have ALREADY been localized available. You don’t even have to stuff the things into a box! Just shove it on a digital shelf in the eShop! SIGH.
Wow, I would grab both of those without a thought for $10 each. I don’t understand the strategy behind these releases or Virtual Console – here we have the technology opening up an entire past system’s library, but instead get only one hand-picked game at a time. Do it for real or quit taunting us, Nintendo.
I can’t justify buying Wii games I already own this way (well, except Prime Trilogy) but I missed these and at $10 I’m keen to pick up damn near anything, let alone these big games with such lofty reputations.
