If you’ve never played an Ace Attorney game before or if you’re a series fanatic like me, you absolutely need to pick up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy on 3DS! Personally, the original DS games are my absolute favorite titles on the system because of the engrossing story, ridiculous but intense court cases, and hilarious puns. Ace Attorney is perfect for anyone interested in playing visual novel games. Robert Marrujo recently reviewed Ace Attorney Trilogy and gave it a B+! There’s also Renegade Kid’s Xeodrifter for 3DS, which looks like a solid retro throwback to the Metroid series. You can also download Lucadian Chronicles, a strategic card game on Wii U, for free and play it before you buy the full version.

In terms of sales, Woah Dave! is a no-brainer at $1. The game is published by Choice Provisions, developer of the Bit.Trip series, and delivers hectic arcade-like action. There’s also Steel Empire, a Genesis shoot-em-up remake on 3DS, which finally received a decent price drop since its initial release! The game used to be $29.99, but it’s been reduced to a reasonable price at $15.99. Get that one while you can!

Xeodrifter looks like fun. Will there be a review coming to the site later?

Worth noting there is also a pretty sweet sale on Armillo (Wii U eShop). It’s normally $8 in Canada, marked down to $4 during the sale.

Pretty disappointed about Whoa Dave! being on sale. It does look like a no brainer… but my 3DS is in for repairs, so I’ll probably miss out on the sale. :(

I’m becoming increasingly impatient waiting for the DKC Trilogy to come to North America. I doubt we’ll get it before the end of the year at this point, so here’s hoping for January!

In the meantime I’ll continue enjoying Captain Toad.
