If you’re into platformers and Metroidvanias, then downloading the long-awaited Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is an absolute must as well. Or, if you’re really into Pokémon and drawing, you can’t go wrong picking up Pokémon Art Academy on 3DS. There’s literally something for everyone this week!

Personally, I’ll be picking up Fantasy Life sometime soon. I’m glad that the game is being localized after I wrote about my desire to bring it to the west last year, as the combination of RPG and life simulation elements really appeal to my tastes. With Bayonetta’s release tomorrow, I really think the Wii U has hit its stride. We’ve got a large variety of first party titles consistently showing up over the next few months and an eshop that is filling up with great indies. The virtual console promotions have started to make those releases more and more appealing as well.

I think chances are high we get a proper Nintendo Direct before the release of smash bros to showcase the holiday/early 2015 line-up too. Can’t wait!

Couldn’t agree more. The lineup is already pretty good, but with Bayonetta 2, Smash, Captain Toad and so many other titles on the way, the future for this console looks brighter than ever.

Now, can we get Fatal Frame???

Oh, don’t tease about Fatal Frame. Definitely one of my most wanted (though not really expected in North America) releases for Wii U…

This is a pretty awesome week for releases though. Bought Bayonetta already and am strongly interested in Fantasy Life and Shantae – just don’t have enough cash at the moment.

Oh, no tease intended! I like to consider myself the Nintendojo champion for that game’s English translation. I desperately want some more survival horror on this console!
