Last month, Nintendo surprised just about everyone in the industry with an E3 showing that rivaled the best it has ever had. One of the most impressive parts of Nintendo’s presentation was the live stream event that Nintendo held throughout the expo. It certainly couldn’t replicate the experience of being at E3, but it did give viewers a closer, more personal look at what the company had to offer, and fans and pundits agreed that it was one of this year’s biggest highlights.
While this weekend likely won’t generate that same level of buzz, it seems that Nintendo will still seek to replicate the successful format used at E3 when it live streams from the San Diego Comic Convention. Exactly what will appear on the live stream remains to be seen, but this weekend’s Super Smash Bros. for 3DS tournament is probably a safe bet. Nintendo has provided a list of the titles attendees can expect to see at the show, which we’ve mirrored below.
Nintendo 3DS:
- Super Smash Bros.
- Pokémon Art Academy
- Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
- Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal
- Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call
- Shovel Knight
- Siesta Fiesta
Wii U:
- Super Smash Bros.
- Hyrule Warriors
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
- Yoshi’s Woolly World
- Mario Kart 8
- Bayonetta 2
- Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric
- Just Dance 2015
- Skylanders Trap Team

Those fortunate enough to attend the convention this weekend will also get a glimpse at Nintendo’s new Amiibo figures, which will be there on display. For the rest of us, we’ll have to settle for checking things out on Twitch this Friday and Saturday. Do you plan on tuning in? Let us know in the comments below!
