The Nintendo Creators Program, a service that gives YouTube users a percentage of revenue for making Nintendo-related content, has been a controversial subject for not letting users produce content independently. However, there’s no doubt that the program is widely successful. While videos have been promised to be processed in a period of two to three days, many YouTube users are claiming that they have not yet seen approval from Nintendo.

Nintendo has acknowledged this problem in the statement below and said that that video processing is taking longer due to high levels of website traffic:

Thank you very much for participating in the Nintendo Creators Program. Due to your enthusiasm for the program, we’re receiving a higher volume of applications to register channels & videos than expected. It is taking longer than we anticipated to confirm the applications. We appreciate your patience as we work through them as quickly as possible.

There are a few things that you can do to help expedite the process. Please check the following points before you register your channels and/or videos. Please note that we are not able to register channels and videos that are not in line with our Terms of Service.

Videos:
-We are only able to register videos that contain game titles specified on the list of supported games.
