Nintendo has managed to snag three Game Critics Awards in this year’s “Best of E3” round-up.
The 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. got the award for Best Handheld/Mobile game, while the Wii U version won in the Best Fighting Game category. Surprisingly enough, Mario Maker was awarded as Best Social/Casual/Familiy game.
If you’ve been sleeping under a rock for the past month, Nintendo had an incredible showing at this year’s E3, so it without a doubt deserves every award it got. I would even go as far as to say that Nintendo pretty much saved the entire E3 experience for me. And believe me, I say it not because you’re reading this piece of news on a Nintendo-dedicated site, but because our favorite company really was that good.
