In their press release, the companies promised the attractions will be friendly for all ages and the multiple attractions will be opening over the next several years. With this partnership, the companies hope to “bring the characters, action and adventure of Nintendo video games to life within Universal theme parks. And to do so in new and innovative ways that capture what makes them so special.”

A brief video, featuring none other than Shigeru Miyamoto, was also released discussing the vision behind this project:

A specific opening date has yet to be announced, but it was confirmed that the Nintendo attractions will be coming to Universal’s park’s in Japan, Hollywood, and Orlando.
